1. Introduction and Scope
Aqualanes Limited operates the DERMXELL⁺ website, online store, and associated marketing channels (collectively, the “Services”) to provide cosmetic and skincare products formulated with dermatologist-tested ingredients.
These Ingredient Safety Guidelines describe how we evaluate ingredient safety, communicate ingredient information, and maintain compliance with advertising and e-commerce platform policies, including those of AppLovin Corporation, Google LLC (including YouTube), Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook and Instagram), and Shopify Inc.
All information herein refers to cosmetic-grade formulations intended solely for external, non-medical use. Our products are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
By using our Services, purchasing our products, or viewing our content, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and understood these guidelines.
2. Advertising-Platform Compliance Overview
We design all ingredient communications to follow the most recent versions of the below policies.
If any platform updates its rules, we will promptly adjust our advertising materials and data practices to remain aligned.
2.1 AppLovin Corporation
- Ads never include medical or therapeutic claims.
- Ingredient descriptions focus solely on cosmetic appearance and hydration benefits.
- No ads or targeting are directed to individuals under 18.
- We do not collect or process health or medical data for advertising or audience targeting.
- All data used for campaign optimization is anonymized or aggregated.
- We follow AppLovin’s restrictions on sensitive data and maintain appropriate user-consent signals for EU/EEA/UK regions.
2.2 Google LLC (Google Ads and YouTube)
- All statements about ingredients describe cosmetic or aesthetic benefits only.
- No wording suggests medical efficacy or therapeutic outcomes.
- Visuals avoid implying that the product changes body structure or treats skin disorders.
- Ingredient-related claims are substantiated internally by safety testing or published cosmetic-science literature.
- Advertising complies with Google’s “Health and Medicines,” “Personalized Advertising,” and “Misrepresentation” policies.
- YouTube creative content follows advertiser-friendly and age-appropriate guidelines.
2.3 Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram)
- Advertising content complies with Meta’s “Health and Wellness,” “Personal Attributes,” and “Community Standards” policies.
- We do not target or exclude audiences based on health status, skin condition, or ingredient preference.
- No “before and after” or exaggerated transformation imagery is used.
- All visuals portray realistic, healthy-looking skin consistent with cosmetic use.
- Meta Pixels and related data tools are configured to prevent transmission of sensitive health data.
- Campaign optimization uses aggregated or consented events only.
2.4 Shopify Platform
- Product pages and advertising claims comply with Shopify’s Acceptable Use Policy and consumer-protection standards.
- Ingredient information is presented accurately and not in a misleading or therapeutic manner.
- Customers receive transparent safety instructions and refund options consistent with our Terms of Service and Return Policy.
3. Ingredient Transparency and Safety Evaluation
We select cosmetic-grade ingredients that meet or exceed global safety benchmarks. Every raw material undergoes documentation review, stability assessment, and dermatological compatibility testing before use.
Typical ingredient categories include:
- Peptides – help improve the look of firmness and smoothness.
- Moisturizers & Humectants – such as glycerin and hyaluronic acid for hydration.
- Antioxidants & Vitamins – such as vitamin E and niacinamide for skin-conditioning.
- Emulsifiers & Stabilizers – ensure texture and product integrity.
- Preservatives – maintain microbiological safety within regulated limits.
All formulations are evaluated for:
- Dermatological tolerance on sensitive skin panels.
- Patch-test compatibility under normal cosmetic-use conditions.
- Stability under standard temperature and humidity ranges.
No animal testing is conducted by Aqualanes Limited or on our behalf, consistent with global cosmetic-testing standards.
4. Allergen Awareness and Patch-Testing Guidance
While our formulations are developed to minimize irritation, individual sensitivities vary.
Before first use:
- Clean a small area of skin (inner forearm).
- Apply a small amount of product.
- Observe for 24–48 hours.
If redness or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Avoid applying to broken or irritated skin. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

Our cosmetic products are produced in accordance with applicable global cosmetic regulations, including:
- European Union Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009
- United Kingdom Cosmetic Products Regulation
- U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Cosmetic Guidelines

Manufacturing partners operate under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and ISO 22716 certification.
All ingredients are sourced from suppliers providing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Certificates of Analysis (COA).
Products do not contain substances prohibited or restricted by these regulations as of the effective date.
6. Environmental and Ethical Responsibility
- Ingredients are procured from suppliers committed to sustainable and cruelty-free practices.
- Packaging materials are selected for recyclability where possible.
- We comply with environmental labeling and waste-reduction guidelines in markets where our products are sold.
7. Consumer Safety Monitoring
We maintain procedures to document and review consumer feedback and any reported adverse reactions.
If irritation or allergy is reported:
- We record the report, product batch, and context.
- Our quality and regulatory teams evaluate whether further action is needed.

- Aqualanes Limited is not responsible for allergic reactions or irritation arising from undisclosed personal sensitivities, improper use, or combination with incompatible products.
- Our total liability, if any, for product-related claims is limited to the purchase price paid for that product.
- Consumers are responsible for reading ingredient lists, performing patch tests, and following label directions.
- This document is informational and does not create a contractual warranty beyond those described in our Terms of Service and Return Policy.
Nothing in this section limits statutory consumer rights that may apply in a customer’s jurisdiction.
10. Continuous Improvement and Policy Updates
We periodically review ingredient safety data, regulatory updates, and platform-policy changes.
These guidelines may be revised without prior notice to reflect new standards or improvements.
